JD-10 Software Engineer - L3 Forwarding

Job Description
You will be working on state of the art network processors, and on the latest Enterprise switches technology, carrier Ethernet technologies and data center technologies. Perform software design and implementation of packet forwarding. Enhance application level functionalities and features for networking platforms. Propose design architectures and solutions for new features and enhancements. Work closely with hardware engineering staff, particular in network processing and switching. Resolve software issues that arise during testing cycle and from customers. Work closely with software quality assurance engineering to review feature test plans and confirm functions.
Degrees and Required Skills
The ideal candidate will have a BS or MS degree in EE, CS, IT or related field plus 4+ years of progressive work experience in the following general areas
*TCP/IP stack
*IP and/or IPv6 packet routing
*MPLS Label Switching
*GRE, MPLS Tunneling
*VRF, L3VPN
*PBR
*ARP, ND6
*Worked with one or more network processors with good knowledge of network processor operations
